The Dynamite is back!!! Daniel Dubois will face Bogdan Dinu for the WBA interim title.

The young heavyweight from London will be returning to the ring this Saturday to face Romanian veteran Bogdan Dinu after suffering his first loss in November against Olympic silver medalist Joe Joyce. Dubois needed a long recovery after his loss to recuperate and look for other options to return on the heavyweight stage, and fighting Bogdan Dinu for the WBA interim title is a great test for him to showcase his resilience and maturity after losing his unbeaten record. Bogdan Dinu is a quality heavyweight with a 20-2 record that has challenged world class fighters such as Jarell Miller and Kubrat Pulev in the past and has also been a regular sparring partner for heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

The 23-year-old came into the fight against Joyce as a favourite, and many believed Dubois would be too young and powerful for a 35-year-old Joyce. However, Joyce exploited his vast amateur experience and utilized his long stiff jab until the fight came to a halt due to Dubois’ ghastly eye injury, which later turned out to be a broken orbital bone that could’ve prematurely ended his career.

After 6 months of inactivity and having teamed up with young trainer Shane McGuigan, Dubois is ready to dust off the cobwebs and pick up where he left off his career with a fresh start.

Dubois will have put in a spectacular performance to be recognized again as a credible contender, but I have no doubt in my mind that he has all the credentials to make this an exciting fight!

Tommy "the gun" Fury back in action!!

Also on the bill will be Tommy “the gun” Fury, star from Love Island and brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Tommy has been out in Miami with Tyson getting in some quality sparring sessions and obtaining experience from world class fighters. There was much talk about Tommy fighting YouTube sensation Jake Paul after having exchanged discussions on various social media platforms. Conversely, Jake Paul signed a promotional deal with Showtime Sports to fight former UFC welterweight champion Tyrone Woodley, which puts the fight on halt.
