Unai Emery on Pau Torres
Speaking to football.london back in a few months back Unai Emry had this to say,
“Pau Torres is an amazing player – I think he’s top,” Emery told football.london.
“I’ve been a coach in Sevilla, PSG, Arsenal and I’ve never seen a centre back like Pau.
“I think he’s going to play at the highest level, he’s playing now in the national team but he can play in the top teams in Europe very soon.”
Many United fans would have seen Torres line out last night against Arsenal. Villareal came away with a 2-1 win against Mikel Arteta’s side. The second leg will give fans another chance to see Pau Torres in action in London.
