Eduardo Camavinga may move to Manchester United this Summer. It has emerged United will meet the entourage next week.
The Rennes Starlet is 18 and is highly coveted across Europe. He broke onto the scene at 17. The young midfielder has already made his debut for France and has even scored for them in a friendly.
French outlet RMC Sport state that United are interested in the transfer of the player. Camavinga is represented by super agent Jonathan Barnett. The agent is also the agent of Gareth Bale, Luke Shaw, Dean Henderson and Jack Grealish.
“It is going to be harder. I’m expecting three or four very big deals of my own that will break a lot of records,” Barnett told the Athletic.
“Hopefully, they’ll come about. For the smaller clubs, I think there won’t be as many transfers. We have some very good players.
“We have probably the best young player in the world in Camavinga. We’ve got [Jack] Grealish. We’ve got [Ibrahima] Konate at Leipzig. But then I’ve got over 100 players.”
RMC Sport state that talks between the Red Devils and the teenager’s agent have already begun with further discussions set to take place in the next few days.
Camavinga’s deal has just 12 months remaining on his current contract and is linked with PSG and Real Madrid. Rennes could be keen to cash in to avoid losing the 18-year-old on a free transfer.
Manchester United are also set to sign Jadon Sancho after a long saga with Borussia Dortmund. The Old Trafford club still need to agree on a price with Dortmund for Sancho, but this is expected to go through soon – perhaps even before the end of the Euros.
