Brady edges Patriots and ends the great debate

LETS GO-AT . . . Brady wins on first return to Foxborough

Sunday evening provided us with one if not the greatest match up in NFL History.

Tom Brady aka “The Goat” took his Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the house he basically built as he faced The New England Patriots and Bill Belichcik for the first ever time.

Ever since Brady shocked the sporting world and left Boston for Tampa in 2020, we finally got to see Tom vs Bill at Gillette Stadium.

Belichick is easily the Greatest Head Coach in the NFL but that did come with Brady being his Quarterback for 20 years.

Their tandem brought huge success with six Super Bowl rings.

What they achieved is unmatched and may never be matched ever in the history of the NFL.

The game between the two greats was viewed like a Super Bowl and it was a field goal attempt which decided the outcome just like their first championship triumph in 2002.

A scoreline which finished 19-17 to Brady and The Bucs escaped with a victory.

It was not Tom’s greatest game as he threw for 269 yards and no touchdowns.

Post Break up of the two GOATS

Although it was TB12 who got the win and provided Belichick with another loss.

Bill has gone 8-12 since losing Brady and this feeling of defeat is starting to become a regular feel.

Many people believe Brady won the great debate of who was more important by securing a seventh Super Bowl ring in February.

However beating Belichick on the road is the moment when it become official.

The Buccaneers are certain to win their division and go far in the play-offs as they look to repeat.

Whilst New England are the third best team in the AFC East and are likely to miss the post season for a second consecutive year.

REUNITED . . . Brady and Belichick embrace following their head to head

Pundits who doubted Brady when he turned 40 in 2017 are starting to admire him more.

Max Kellerman who made “the cliff” prediction has stated on ESPN this week “It seems Brady took all the luck to Tampa when he left New England”.

Whilst Hall of Fame Tight End Shannon Sharpe has stated Brady deserves more credit than Belichick for their success.

The great debate has been concluded Brady brings winning to teams and for sure when the debate arises of Tom or Bill, it’s the Quarterback that deserves more praise and credit.
